Prayer Ministry

The LWMC Prayer Ministry seeks to grow the prayer culture in church by being sensitive to the heartbeat and intercessory needs of the church. It also seeks to create opportunities for the church to engage in and receive teaching on prayer, building a community of watchmen and intercessors, and to provide support to church ministry and congregation members through intercessory and prophetic prayer.

The highlight of the Prayer Ministry calendar is the monthly Hour of Power held on the last Friday of the month at 8pm, Shema Space.

At Hour of Power, we gather to seek God’s presence as a family through worship and prayer. We spend time listening to God share what is on His heart, and pray according to what He shows us to pray. Through this platform, we hope to learn what it means to i) intercede from a place of intimacy with God, ii) receive what is on God’s heart and release it in prayer and iii) take hold of our authority in Jesus through declaration of God’s promises over our lives, church and nations.
