Lent Guided Silent Retreat

Come, Taste and Be

All of us, as growing Christians know the importance of “quiet time” in order to grow in faith.  But sometimes we feel a little stuck and jaded. We need to develop fresh habits that will energize us and bring some freshness to our quiet time with the Lord.

This year’s Lenten Silent Retreat aims to help you enrich your devotional life and guide you into new ways of spending time with God. You will be introduced to different ways of being with God and to have a “taste” of it at this retreat. With this experience, you will learn to be more confident on how to practice the Presence of God in daily life.

This year we have the pleasure of introducing Ms Teo Soo Hoon as the Spiritual Director. Soo Hoon is a full-time Ministry Staff with Paya Lebar Methodist Church. She has been overseeing the Pastoral Care and Counselling Ministry at PLMC for more than 20 years.  She runs prayer retreats and courses on prayer, provides pastoral care and gives spiritual direction. She is a trained Spiritual Director with both New Zealand and Singapore.
